Steven is a husband, a father, a farmer, and an attorney. Born and raised in Georgia, Steven is also a life-long Conservative Republican who has spent his life fighting for conservative principles and advocating for his fellow Georgians. 

Steven is a graduate of the University of Georgia and Mercer University’s Walter F. George School of Law. Steven and his wife Mollie met at the University of Georgia and have been married for 20 years. They reside with their three children in Macon where Steven is a partner at the law firm Buzzell, Welsh & Hill. Mollie is a Pharmacist at two independent pharmacies in our community. An avid outdoorsman, Steven enjoys spending time working on his family timber farm as well as hunting and fishing. 

Steven is an active member of the Georgia Republican Party and has volunteered and worked on numerous local, statewide and federal Republican campaigns since he was in college. 

 

As a family farmer, Steven knows the importance of agriculture and stewardship to Georgia’s economy. He is active in Tall Timbers, Longleaf Alliance, and the Georgia-Alabama Land Trust.
